Ingress Upgrade

Upgrading Ingress NGINX Helm Chart via GitOps

Steps

  1. Check the changelogs for breaking changes and apply modifications if necessary
    • Check the ingress-nginx application changelog here
    • Check the Helm chart changelog here

Per each environment:

  1. Update Chart Version

    • Change the Helm chart versions here for stage, here for prod and here for HQ.

  2. Sync on ArgoCD

    • Sync the <environment>-ingress-nginx application

  3. Monitor the Upgrade

    • Do some calls to gap-docs to make sure all is well
    • Check the Ingress controller dashboards here for stage, here for prod and here for HQ
